Orlando for the IPCPR Trade Show

We had a great time in Orlando for the IPCPR Trade Show this past weekend. We had a busy first day – lot’s of new cigars. Jose Blanco offered us his new Cuenca y Blanco – GREAT SMOKE!. Andreas from Curivari has increased production, new products from Nestor Miranda (Miami Cigar), Altadis, General Cigar, Alec Bradley & Oliva. We joined Jose Blanco and Dr Cuenca at their launch party last night – also, attended great party hosted by the Toranos.

The second day of the IPCPR was busy again as we caught up with our friends from Fuente, Ashton, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, La Flor Dominicana, Perdomo, Tatuaje, My Father and George Rico of Gran Habano. Many new products to try (smoked 11 or 12 of them) and some really good stuff this year. We wrapped up the day with the Ashton Dinner (catered by Emeril’s and attended by a who’s who of the cigar business) and the Miami Cigar Party – good thing that Nestor Miranda makes cigars better than he sings!

Day three at the IPCPR was very productive as we met with, sampled and ordered product from Gurkha, Rocky Patel, Crowned Heads (Four Kicks), Casa Fernandez, Davidoff (AVO, Griffith, Room 101 & Camacho), Oliveros (Aging Room), Padron, Torano and Xikar. Lot’s of work and fun in Orlando – but back to work – Jan will be busy loading up the Humidor in the next few weeks. Stop in to try the new cigars!

3rd Annual Golf Outing Raises $14800 for Fox Chase Cancer Center

G&G Cigar Company’s 3rd Annual Golf Outing raised a record $14800 for Fox Chase Cancer Center for funding cancer research. The event was held at the Downingtown Country Club. This check brings G&G’s total donations to over $57000 to various charities.
