The owners of G&G Cigar Company of West Chester presented a check to Fox Chase Cancer Center in the amount of $7,592.  The money was raised in November 2008 at the 10th Anniversary Cigarapalooza celebration held in a gala tent behind the retail shop at 118 North High Street. 

The significance of the sold-out event was that well-known owners Doug Gianforte and Pete Garzia pledged that 100% of the ticket and silent action sales would be donated to Fox Chase.  Both owners lost a parent to cancer in 2008.  Over 100 attendees enjoyed free cigars donated from 14 premium cigar manufacturers with food and beer provided by Victory Brewing Company and Music by the Al Moretti Trio.
